My mail box is full of mail that I have no interest in, is their anything to do?

SPAM is big business! Most Internet Service Providers are trying to use all the tools they can to block it. Microsoft is working on more tools in their next update.

Several things may help

You can try a SPAM blocker. Like Norton Spam blocker. One of the problems you may find is that Spam blockers may block the good stuff too. It takes a bit of working with it to get it to function just right.

The other important thing to do is to not give out your email to newsgroups or have it in the text on your web site. Spamers use robots to scan web sites for email addresses.

 

 

 


 

We're always asked what we think of various software programs that are supposed to improve computer security.

We don't particularly like the Norton Internet Security program as it seems to interfere with people's everyday activity, like getting on the internet or email.
