Spyware is taking over my computer what can I do?

What are spybots? It's software that is downloaded to your machine without your knowledge that compromises your machine's security. A spybot can relay information such as credit card numbers, social security numbers, and passwords to outside hackers. The other thing is that spyware can slow your machine down drastically.

A recent study showed that 91% of all broadband customers had spyware on their computers. Their are several tools available to help with this problems.

Download the following tool:

Spybot Search & Destroy (www.spybot.info)

Install Spybot S&D and scan your computer with them then remove the spybots. If you've never done this before you may have over 100 listings of spybots active on your computer.

The other destructive software that you may run into is called sneakware. When you're on a site a dialog box will popup that says Security Warning at the top then will say "Do you want to install and run " IE plug-in "Once you agree to the License Terms and Privacy Policy click YES to CONTINUE"

This is a trick, just say NO !

Give us a call if you need more help avoiding these issues.
